Senate Bill 3 has passed both chambers of the Texas Legislature and is now on Governor Greg Abbott’s desk. If signed, this bill will ban legal hemp-derived THC products, including Delta-8 and compliant Delta-9 — threatening thousands of jobs, businesses, and safe access for Texans.

Last night, the Texas House passed a ban on hemp-derived products. Lieutenant Dan Patrick forced a vote by holding HB2 (public school funding) hostage to force the vote in his favor.
This only benefits the black market and bad actors.
