The Fight Is Not Done!

VETO SB3

๐Ÿ“ฃ Call to Action: Stop SB 3 โ€” Protect Texas Hemp

๐Ÿšจ Texas Hemp Is Under Threat

Senate Bill 3 has passed both chambers of the Texas Legislature and is now on Governor Greg Abbottโ€™s desk. If signed, this bill will ban legal hemp-derived THC products, including Delta-8 and compliant Delta-9 โ€” threatening thousands of jobs, businesses, and safe access for Texans.

๐Ÿ›‘ SB 3 = Job Loss + Criminalization + Consumer Harm

Last night, the Texas House passed a ban on hemp-derived products. Lieutenant Dan Patrick forced a vote by holding HB2 (public school funding) hostage to force the vote in his favor.

This only benefits the black market and bad actors.

The fight is not done! We still have a chance by calling on Greg Abbott to VETO this bill. Greg Abbott, you are in charge, not Lieutenant Dan Patrick?

โœ๏ธ Tell Governor Abbott: Veto SB 3

Use your voice. Tell the Governor you oppose SB 3 and support a safe, regulated hemp industry โ€” not a ban.

๐Ÿ“Œ Talking Points (Use These in Your Message):

  • SB 3 will criminalize federally legal products and hurt compliant businesses.
  • This bill puts over 8,000 Texas jobs and $8 billion in revenue at risk.
  • Texans deserve access to legal wellness alternatives โ€” not prohibition.
  • A veto shows leadership โ€” it supports small businesses, veterans, and consumer choice.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Sample Message:

Dear Governor Abbott,

I urge you to VETO Senate Bill 3, which threatens the Texas hemp industry, small businesses, and safe consumer access to federally legal products. This bill will create confusion, criminalize responsible commerce, and hurt thousands of hard-working Texans.

Please support a regulated, not restricted, approach to hemp. Protect Texas jobs. Protect our rights.

Thank you.
